Every couple are looking for their special day to be unique and for that reason we don’t offer packages unless we are running a promotion. We offer a blank canvas that is just waiting for your individual ideas to make your day complete. As a guide, the cost of our marquee hire on a Friday or Saturday is $2,500 (inc GST), and our venue hire is $1,000 (inc GST) – total $3,500. Contact us about our mid-week and Sunday rates. From there you add the hire cost of your crockery, cutlery, tables, chairs and/or decorating to make your day complete. All that you will need is held in stock here at Weddings in the Grove for exclusive use by our clients.
Yes, we recommend that every couple visits us and to take a moment to look around the venue. Just email us a day and time that you would like to visit us. We are available most week days after 2:00pm or any time Saturday or Sunday. We can then talk about your wedding and prepare a personal, obligation free quote for you to budget with.
Yes of course you can. Our gardens are available Monday through Thursday for ceremonies. We keep Fridays through to Sundays free for couples who wish to book their reception or ceremony and reception with us. Contact us to find out if your date is free.
We will work with you in your wedding planning to come up with an appropriate contingency plan. While we cannot stop the rain or make the sun shine you can be assured that your photos on the day will look fantastic. The WITG venue offers sheltered areas under the homestead verandas, then we will relocate your ceremony to either the rotunda or the marquee.
We have a great relationship with many offsite catering companies. Bundaberg is uniquely serviced by an amazing number of local and brilliant chefs, and mobile caterers. We are happy to recommend and/or to organise all your catering needs for you.
Yes, though the caterer you arrange must be an operator who is licensed to provide offsite catering.
Weddings in the Grove is a BYO venue that follows responsible service of alcohol rules. This means you will save on the high bar costs that other venues charge. Many of the local retail alcohol providers will deliver your order direct to our venue where we will store in a cold room to keep cool and ready for your event.
We arrange for a specialty bar area to be set up on the day where your guests can either self-serve or we can build into your quote the cost of staff to serve drinks for you and your guests. Please note that if you are intending to have measured spirits this must be managed by a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualified bar person.
No, we do not allow guests to individually bring alcohol to the venue for their own consumption. As we follow responsible service of alcohol rules, all drinks must be supplied by the brides and grooms so that they can be served out of a single bar area. Drinks will then be managed by Weddings In The Grove (WITG) staff on your day.
No, all hire items that are in the WITG price list must be hired from WITG. If we are unable to supply an item that you would like included for your styling, then we are happy to source these items for you at a cost of 10% of the amount that we are invoiced for.
While we do offer an event styling service, we do believe that individual decorations help make your wedding unique to you. We are also happy for you to engage your own decorator to carry out your event styling for you or alternatively may we suggest some brilliant specialty decorators to help you on your day.
