Synergy In The Grove

That dream day wedding that you’ve been planning doesn’t come together by accident…or does it? Actually, it’s more like the culmination of a lot of excellent communication and hard work by a talented group of like-minded professionals that will ultimately lead to your event’s success. We call it synergy.

Our most recent wedding was certainly one of the largest we have tackled as a young enthusiastic business and we needed to co-ordinate a number of local businesses and bring together some important elements for the event to be the success it was. 120 adults and 30 children were hosted and served by a team of local vendors and staff. Guests enjoyed an alternate drop menu, whilst children had fun in their own special marquee, fitted out with games, comfy furniture and their own menu.

Setting up the marquee

Every bride has a dream of their own fairy tale wedding day and ours was no exception. A favourite book called “The Princess Bride” by S. Morgenstern was our bride’s inspiration. In the book the hero performed various deeds of “daring do” to rescue the princess before the happy ending eventually arrived. Let’s hope our groom was not similarly tested! The couple’s expectation was that their reception would flow from our magical gardens during the day into the marquee with its twinkling fairy lights and by night guests would relax and dance under the stars.

The success of this spectacular wedding was the result of some wonderful synergy from the following local Bundaberg businesses:

Venue:  Weddings In The Grove (Ian & Sandy, Co-ordination and setup)

Management:  Once Upon a Party (Lisa, Management and staffing)

Chef:  Food for Fork & Last Stop Catering (Dion & Teneale)

Flowers:  Flower Box Florists (Jenny)

Cake:  Creative Cakes by Gen (Gen)

Photography:  Right Image Photography (Rachael)

Videography:  Memory

The synergy on the day brought together the perfect people at the perfect location to create the perfect event.
